LIFE DESERT-ADAPT

LIFE DESERT-ADAPT is a five-year project funded by EU LIFE Programme. It aims to test a Desertification Adaptation framework of land management designed to respond to two of the most critical problems experienced by farmers, public lands and communities of the Mediterranean Basin, the need to adapt to current Climate Change and the need to reduce and counteract the increasing phenomenon of land degradation and desertification risk.

The final conference will explore these relevant topics together with experts of Climate Change Risk, Land Degradation and Desertification risk, C cycle and C farming, innovative solutions for arid and degraded lands.

Desert-Adapt project will present key results obtained by the project and lessons learned.
